On the occasion of the National Women’s Health Daywhich is celebrated on April 22, Wave FoundationNational Observatory for Women’s Health and Gender, has since organized April 20 to 26 the seventh edition of(H) Open House Week with the aim of promoting the information, prevention and treatment of women.
The structures of the Bollini Rosa network that have joined the initiative, including theHospital of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Fatebenefratelli in Beneventowill provide services free of charge clinical, diagnostic and informativeface-to-face and remotely, in different areas of specialization: cardiology, dermatology, diabetology, dietetics and nutrition, endocrinology and metabolic diseases, gynecology and obstetrics, reproductive medicine, neurology, gynecological oncology, medical oncology, pneumology, psychiatry, rheumatology, breast cancer, urology, violence against women.

The 2021 edition brought together 182 hospitals, which provided a total of 8,000 services, including visits, instrumental examinations, consultations and meetings open to in-person and virtual citizens.
“With this seventh edition of Open Doors Week, which enjoys the patronage of 18 learned societies, the Fondazione Onda renews its commitment to women’s health which began when the then Minister of Health, Beatrice Lorenzin, instituted the day dedicated to women’s health”, comments Francesca Merzagora, President of the Onda Foundation.
“This year, more than 270 participating hospitals will offer 20 to 26 April diagnostic and therapeutic services, information activities, conferences… to bring the female population closer to increasingly early diagnoses and personalized care pathways. Post COVID highlights the enthusiasm of our Pink Stickers to resume all activities forcibly left over the past two years of the pandemic”
The Onda Foundation, since 2007, has awarded hospitals that provide services dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the main female pathologies the recognition of the Pink Stamps; the network, made up of 354 hospitals spread throughout the country, supports the Fondazione Onda in promoting, even within hospitals, a “gender” approach in the definition and strategic planning of clinical assistance services, essential for guarantee the right to health not only of women but also of men.
The initiative is carried out with the patronage of the Association of Diabetes Physicians (AMD), the Association of Italian Hospital Obstetrician Gynecologists (AOGOI), APS Senonetwork Italia, the Italian Society of Diabetology (SID), of the Italian Society of Medicine, Surgery, Aesthetic Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (SIDeMaST), Italian Society of Endocrinology (SIE), Italian Society of Fertility (SIFES) and Reproductive Medicine (MR), Italian Society of Gynecology and of Obstetrics (SIGO), Italian Society of Arterial Hypertension (SIIA), Italian Society of Neurology (SIN), Italian Society of Neuropsychopharmacology (SINPF), Italian Society of Human Nutrition (SINU), Italian Society of Obesity (SIO ) Italian Society of Osteoporosis, Mineral Metabolism and Skeletal Diseases (SIOMMMS), Italian Society of Pneumology (SIP), Italian Society of Psychiatry (SIP), Italian Society of Cardiovascular Prevention (S IPREC) and Italian Society of Urodynamics (S IUD) and with the unconditional contribution of Exact Sciences, Farmacie Apoteca Natura, Hologic, Lundbeck, Prodeco Pharma and Wave Pharma.
