On March 30, 2021, three health workers involved in the pediatric polio vaccination campaign were murdered in Jalalabad. A year later, even as in Europe dramatic war scenarios affect the health of millions of people, USL 2 Umbria promotes an opportunity to come together to call for a collective commitment against violence and for public health in Italy and around the world. THE PROGRAM

MARCH 29 – A meeting to remember three health workers killed in Afghanistan, but also to recall the need for a commitment to peace and public health. To promote it, tomorrow in Terni, is the Local Health Authority 2 Umbria.

This moment of memory today takes on a particular meaning in the context of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 which sees the collective effort of all institutions to emerge from the pandemic”.
