Lady Gaga’s 5 Factor Diet, diet and workout combo

The easier the diet, the better it works. Apparently even the stars have discovered the rule. If we then speak of diet and training together, as for 5-factor diet, even better. Despite the ranks of personal trainers, personal trainers and personal dietitians, the divine Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Rihanna (now pregnant) turned out to be just like us mere mortals: if a diet is complicated, requires astronomical calculations and changes regimens at a frantic pace, they too get tired and give up. This explains the success of 5 Factor Fitness: a diet where everything boils down to a number. The 5, of course.

5-factor diet. How the diet works diet and training stars

According to the routine developed by the personal trainer and nutritionist Harley Pasternak, who trains Lady Gaga daily, to avoid hunger pangs and keep the glycemic index under control, all you need to do is know how to count to five. Five is the correct number of meals per day, i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks. The distance between meals is calculated by dividing the hours awake by 5. The 5-factor diet lasts (obviously) 5 weeks and plans 5 breaks, or one day off every week. But what exactly do you eat? Every meal, says Pasternak, should contain at least one food from each of the 5 groups of nutrients essential: proteins, low glycemic index carbohydrates, “good” fats, fiber and a sugar-free drink such as tea or herbal tea (in addition to water).

5 Exercises to Stay in Shape: Here’s Who Tried Them

The 5-factor diet also includes a workout routine, as always based on the number 5. With the same cadence as the diet (5 weeks, 5 days off), you should perform every day 5 sets of exercises of 5 minutes each, explained in detail in Pasternak’s 5-Factor Fitness volume. It starts with a group of cardiovascular exercises as a warm-up, then continues with lower body, upper body, abdominals and ends with 5 minutes of high intensity cardio fitness. A total of 25 minutes of physical activity, which can also be done at home at any time of the day. The list of celebrities who have lost weight and toned with the Pasternak method is very long: in addition to Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Megan Fox too Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Jessica Simpson, Alicia Keys, Behati Prinsloo, Halle Berry, Hillary Duff, Eva Mendes, Adam Levine and rapper Eve.
