The AQUILA – Eagle European City of Sport 2022 was also mentioned during the Bourse Internationale du Tourisme (Bit), which closed its doors yesterday at the Milan Fair.

This happened within the framework of the meeting organized by the Abruzzo Region in its stand, in which various personalities of national and international sport took part, including, by the way, the FIGC President, Gabriel Gravina.

“The activity of the municipal administration – continued Aquilio – has shown that it gives great importance to the sports associations of the region, aimed at raising awareness among young people of the values ​​of sport and the well-being that the practice of sport entails The Ministry of Sports, always in this sense, has commissioned the University of L’Aquila to carry out a survey of young people who carry out these activities in January 2022, in order to be able to compare it with a new survey in January 2023. Special attention has been given to so-called minor sports, but which are widely practiced by most. International breakdance championships, tournaments in specific athletic disciplines, sports initiatives for the disabled and many other events will enrich a very significant program for city ​​and territory.

Finally, Commissioner Aquilio took stock of the participation in the Bit in Milan.
