For the first time, 9 teams will be on the playing field with an innovative formula that will give all participants the opportunity to play for the final. 7 nations represented by the teams: the United States by Team Ohio, Canada by Toronto United, Sweden by Basketgymnasiet Rig Mark, Germany by Team Urspring, Hungary by Ràtgéber Academy, Croatia by KK Rijeka and Italy will see a triple representation thanks to the basketball players of Stella Azzurra Roma, AP Galvi Lissone, SGR Aurora Desio.
The formula foresees a total of 21 matches that will be played between the PalaFarè in via Caravaggio, which hosts more than half of the matches, and the brand new Palazzetto dello Sport in via Di Vittorio.
Inserted in the renewed context of the Don Moscotti district and designed to accommodate several sports disciplines, the new multipurpose gymnasium it is an energy-efficient building, with a total area of approximately 2,500 square meters and more than 600 seats.
