‘Spezia Outdoor’, let’s go! Sport takes to the streets – Chronicle

‘La Spezia Outdoor’ ready to go. The program of the festival is rich, which opens this morning at 10 in Piazza Europa, with the hymn sung by the tenor Eros Lombardo, in the presence of the mayor Pierluigi Peracchini and the councilors Lorenzo Brogi and Maria Grazia Frijia. The whole day of conferences in piazza Europa is organized by the conductor Federico Lavalle and begins at 11 a.m. with ‘Cai and mountain therapy’ with guest Gianmarco Simoni, then at 11.30 a.m. ‘Cai and the paths of the ‘Ring’ with Alessandro Bacchioni and Riccardo Micheli, at 12 p.m. ‘Nordic Walking and Health’ with Luca Cecchetto, at 12.30 p.m. ‘The Palio around 100 years’ with Maria Grazia Frijia, at 15 ‘Mountaineering Experience’ with Serafino Ripamonti, at 3.30 p.m. ‘Extreme experiences of running and mountain therapy’ with Amerigo Puntelli, at 16 “Importance of the preventive medical examination of aptitude for competitive and non-competitive practice”, at 4:30 p.m. “Rafting for all” with Walter Filattiera. From 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. then speeches and greetings from Davide Battistella (Fasi), Simone Mannelli (Fci), Stefano Mei (Fidal), Federico Leporati (national coach) and Davide Fergola (Trail Liguria). In the village of piazza Europa, after the inauguration at 10 a.m., the activities begin at 10:30 a.m.: promotional cycle route in piazza Europa; Bike rental ; departures for cycle tours with guide; free walking and Nordic walking promotional tour; departures on circular tracks; departures from cycle paths with guides from Europapiazza Bayreuth ‘PedaLaspezia’ square, Parco delle Mura excursion; orientation demonstrations for missing children, climbing walls; kids tour for children from 6 to 12 years old. Then, still on Saturday, but in the afternoon, from 3:00 p.m.: orientation demonstrations on the “pedaLaspezia” cycle path for missing children; free Nordic walking demonstrations and trials in Piazzale del Marinaio; musical Nordic walking (earphones will be provided to users, upon reservation on site). The Saturday sports program, on the other hand, foresees, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., the collection of the mountain bike race pack in Piazza Europa, then at 9 a.m. the start of the race for adults (ending at 12 p.m.) from Piazzale del Marinaio; at 10.30 a.m. departures from piazza Europa and piazza Bayreuth for children aged 6 to 13 (6 kilometres); in the afternoon from 4 to 7 p.m., the bibs for the trail races will be handed out in Piazza Europa.

We go to Sunday and in the village of Piazza Europa, at 10am with the reservation on site for the climbing wall (also at 2pm) and the gymkana on site, then at 10.30am the bike tour ‘pedaLaspezia’; at 2:15 p.m. the Spezia route guides and the Eros Lombardo concert and finally at 3:00 p.m. the cycle route for children from 6 to 12 years old. On Sunday, the students’ trail competitions will begin at 8.30 a.m., then at 9.30 a.m. the Trail 5 Terre and after the demonstrations and free trials of Nordic walking in the mountains with Flavia Brazzoduro at 10 a.m., here is the musical Nordic walking at 10.30 a.m. (at 10.45 a.m. the buffet of cadets in piazza Europa). Al Montagna proposes at 11 a.m. there is the Panathlon in motion on the field of the athletics track, the same place where the award ceremony for the trail competitions will take place at 3 p.m. The event will end at 4 p.m. In particular, however, among the various appointments we remember this special that the Associazione Astrofili Spezzini offers for Saturday, from the 20th to the 24th, at the Parco delle Mura – in the version … Via delle stelle – in collaboration with Cai, Alpine Rescue, Lilt and Astronomical Society Lunae (with the technical assistance of Decathlon), in which participants will experience an excursion that will take them from the cathedral to Porta Isolabella, observing the astronomical objects of the evening from several positions.
