This morning the technical table on simulation in training in the health sector was set up at the initiative of the Under-Secretary of Health Pierpaolo Sileri.

The table is made up of doctors from various specialties, surgeons, paediatricians, experts in training and simulation from the health sector but also from other sectors, such as aeronautics, with the aim of identifying good practices. and to define objectives for the use of the training fund simulation, included for the first time in the 2022 finance law.

Simulation training is a methodology that allows to recreate the operating conditions in which the activities of the personnel will take place and therefore allows to assess with more precision their relevance and effectiveness, as well as to identify possible organizational criticalities. .

“I strongly wanted the table on simulation in training to be set up because I am convinced that it can contribute to significantly improving the quality of operational and technical activities in the health sector, as well as communication capacities. operators,” said Undersecretary Sileri, who added: “The table will allow us to define a concrete action plan for the use of the simulation fund, but it is only a first step: the objective is to consolidate and increase the endowment in the following years, and to make Italy a world of excellence for simulation in the health sector”.

The working table must conclude its activities by July 15, 2022, producing a final report to Undersecretary Sileri and the Cabinet of the Ministry, in order to allow the advancement of the proposals that will emerge in the government and parliament.
