On Friday 8 April at Eataly Trieste we celebrate the great Italian gastronomic and oenological heritage with the “Eatinerando, food, music and wine” evening: a special experience inside the store. With the collaboration of Creativa Eventi, from 7 p.m. to midnight, all floors of the store will be dedicated to a food and wine journey in the name of good food, wine, beer, cocktails and music.
For the occasion, 10 stations will be set up where you can taste the great dishes prepared by the chef of Eataly Trieste and the excellences of the market: products cooked daily in the wood oven of the Eataly bakery, cooking in “Sfreddo” crust, a typical product of Trieste cuisine, without forgetting the emblematic regional dishes of cod in cream, served by the Barcaccia-Fish Academy, the Eataly fish market, with anchovies in saor and red onion. In addition, chef Claudio Palumbo, reinterpreting the local cuisine, will perform in a cooking show with the preparation of gnocchi with fresh tuna goulash and wild fennel.
In combination with food, there will be for the occasion 6 wine and beer producers Kettmeir, Borgogno, Fontanafredda, Le Vigne di Zamò, Serafini & Vidotto and Cittavecchia and 3 major local producers of: Joressel gin, Nonino grappa and liqueurs Piolo & Max who they will accompany in a tasting itinerary.
The large Enoteca on level -1 will turn into a large space with live music: from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Pet & Sons will play, offering us a repertoire full of energy ranging from rock to pop music. In Piazza di Eataly, the Dj Cozzi evening will open from 7 p.m. and from 10 p.m. Dj Spiller: Venetian by birth, he has established himself as an internationally renowned DJ and remixer for Smoke City, Matt Bianco feat Kim Mazelle, Gloria Gaynor, Run DMC, Saint-Germain, Bob Sinclair, Cerrone.
The entrance ticket for the evening is €50 and includes all food, wine, beer and cocktail tastings and the great shows in the Enoteca and Piazza. The claim “for a good cause” is the main objective of the evening: the profits, in fact, will be donated to the charity association “Azzurra: association of rare diseases ETS-ODV”, founded in 2000 and which works to fight against rare diseases that affect children and against an institutional “system” that does not recognize the suffering of families and does not take care of children.
