Three extraordinary days of sea, sailing and youth. Ancona is preparing to host the Italian Youth Windsurfing Cup (Techno 293 and Iq Foil categories), scheduled for tomorrow through Sunday. The event, organized by the historical association of Sef Stamura, was presented yesterday at a press conference by the company and the representatives of the institutions. It will take place in the waters in front of the Marina Dorica, where more than 230 talents, aged 8 to 19, from all over the peninsula, will try to emulate the exploits of Giorgia Speciale, 2018 Youth Olympic champion, Alessandro Graciotti , world champion under 15 the same year, or Medea Falcioni, world champion in 2021. “There will be more than 200 sailors, divided by age groups, who will compete for the title in the Techno 293 fleet, while about thirty will participate in the IQ Foil, either with a board equipped with a fin that uses hydrodynamics to get out of the water and “fly”.The IQ Foil will be a new Olympic board discipline sailing from Paris 2024″, explained Giuseppe Mascino, diesse della Stamura. At his side, to do the honors at the headquarters of the Mole Vanvitelliana, the President Michele Pietrucci, who thanked the administration, the Federation and the Coni for the support, as well as Marina Dorica for the collaboration offered: “Ancona and the Stamura are once again protagonists of a great Italian sailing event”, he recalled. In the Italian Youth Windsurf Cup, Stamura, led by coach Giacomo Dottori, will be in the water with 14 athletes, 12 in Techno 293 and two in Iq Foil: Alessandro Graciotti (born in 2005), Giulio Orlandi ( ’06), Medea Falcioni (’10), Elettra Fulgenzi (’10), Pier Enrico Mariotti (’05), Elisa Bruno (’10), Mario Biondi (’10), Errico Borri (’08), Andrea Pacinotti ( ’06), Enea Giacomini (’06), Elias Cardinali (’09), Giulio Centanni (’09), Federico Bigoni (’10), Marco Boria (’08) and Giada Petrucci (’09).
